I have no explanation as to the significance of the number except that for now, it stands as a goal – to blog about at least 100 songs that comprise this particular life-long soundtrack. The choices are, as most cataloging endeavors are, arbitrary, too.
I also make it a point not to necessarily have a point. The post can be just about a feeling heightened by the song. It can also be a mention of a certain association or an affinity.
